Herbaceous sweet-pea
White and rose pink flowers on stems that bear purple pea-like flowers during spring. This herbaceous clump-forming perennial is commonly known as Spring Vetchling.
Unlike its climbing cousins, Lathyrus vernus looks stunning when used to under-plant shrubs or to add early season interest to the front of flower beds and borders. Best when grown in either sun or partial shade and a reasonably good soil.
