'Fishes' produces delicate, pale pink, tufty flowerheads on strong, straight stems with spear-shaped, fresh green leaves, their fragrance reminiscent of earl grey tea. Perfect for attracting bees all summer long into autumn, it is a mildew resistant variety.
This dainty form of Bergamot or Bee Balm looks wonderful planted in drifts through a border, combined with fresh greens, purples and dark reds. Once established, we recommend you avoid cutting it back in the autumn. For the best results, grow it in a rich, free draining soil that retains some dampness, but which does not dry out fully in the summer. A full sun or partially shaded site is best.
