Height x Spread: 90cm x 90cm
This is one of the old traditional varieties, it is still a very good plant for the larger garden or for mixed borders. It makes large clumps with tall flower spikes and is best planted where it can get support from shrubs or other plants.
They flower all summer attracting bees and butterflies, occasional deadheading will help. If you cut them down to 10cm in mid September they will grow back a good leaf clump for the winter.
