Nepeta × faassenii 'Kit Cat'

'Kit Kat' in full bloom is a stunning sight with upright spikes densely packed with intense lavender-blue flowers over neat scented green foliage.  Punching much higher than its neat, rounded petite form would suggest, it can flower almost continuously from May through to September, if you cut back faded flower spikes hard to the ground to encourage fresh growth.

Superb for edging a path or raised bed, especially in more exposed and cold situations where Lavandula may struggle to overwinter, if space is limited use it for a sunny windowbox where it will attract bees and butterflies all summer long.  So easy to grow, it prefers a light, free draining soil in either sun or partial shade.
