Description

Paeonia 'Cora Louise'

Height x Spread: 80cm x 60cm

Glorious, gently fragrant, single blooms appear during the summer. Pale pink petals with red basal markings surround golden yellow stamens. 'Cora Louise' holds these sublime flowers above luscious green foliage. This Peony is an ITOH intersectional hybrid, a herbaceous peony crossed with a tree peony, giving us a shorter plant with a much longer flowering period than a normal herbaceous peony, it is therefore ideal for those of us with smaller gardens.

'Cora Louise' steals the show in flower beds and borders with it sumptuous flowers which can also be cut for flower arrangements. It can be planted in containers too, a stunning addition to any patio. Foliage usually dies back naturally, allowing you to remove the old leaves in autumn. 'Cora Louise' is perfectly happy in any reasonably good soil as long as it is planted in a sunny situation.

Harmful if eaten.
