Astrantia 'Roma' PBR'

One of the best known varieties of Astrantia due to its soft, clear pink coloured blooms and continuous flowering throughout the summer. An iconic cottage garden plant, it is equally at home in more formal planting schemes.

It is often combined with Allium bulbs, as the Astrantia's lush foliage neatly disguises the Allium's lower unattractive fading foliage. Excellent for the middle of the border, it forms really good sized clumps quickly.

To thrive, it needs a fertile, moisture retentive soil in either sun or part shade.
