Description

Height x Spread: 90cm x 60cm

'Alice Hindley' is a wonderful Penstemon, upright stems carry racemes of pale mauve trumpet-shaped flowers with white throats, which last throughout the summer. This clump-forming perennial with large green ovate leaves is semi-evergreen. It is perfect for pollinators too, bees absolutely adore Penstemon.

To maintain the vigour of this perennial, deadhead as the flowers fade. Do not be tempted to cut this perennial down before the winter, leave the top growth to protect it. In spring, after the last frosts have passed, cut the plant back hard. These gorgeous flowers look fantastic in any borders or beds. Happy to grow in any fertile, moisture retentive, free-draining soil, in sun or partial shade.
