'Countess of Dalkeith' has delightful large purple bell-shaped flowers with pure white throats throughout the summer. Narrow lance-shaped green foliage provides a gorgeous backdrop for the purple flowers.
This easy to grow perennial has a semi-evergreen bushy habit. Great for the front or middle of your borders and beds in either sun or partial shade. It prefers a fertile soil which is moist but free-draining. To maintain the vigour of this perennial, deadhead as the flowers fade. Do not be tempted to cut this perennial down before the winter. In spring after the last frosts have passed, cut the plant back hard.
