Penstemon 'Hidcote Pink'

'Hidcote Pink' has racemes of gorgeous pink tubular flowers with dark pink and white streaked throats. An easy to grow perennial, which is great for pollinators too, this Penstemon flowers for the whole of summer. It has a bushy growth habit with stems bearing narrow green lance-shaped foliage.

Keep deadheading this perennial as the flowers fade to encourage more flowers to develop. Do not be tempted to cut this perennial down before the winter. In spring, after the last frosts have passed, cut the plant back hard. These gorgeous flowers look fantastic in any borders or beds. Happy to grow in any fertile, moisture retentive, free-draining soil, in sun or partial shade.
