Spires of light pink bell-shaped flowers appear during summer and early autumn. 'Rosea' is commonly known as Red Bistort'. This clump-forming herbaceous perennial has pointed mid-green oval foliage covering branching stems.

Perfect for adding a little height and structure to your beds and borders, 'Rosea' prefers sunny or partially shady areas with moisture-retentive soil. A great plant for planting at the edges of streams or ponds and for bog gardens.

Contact with all parts may irritate skin.
