Description

Phlox paniculata 'Norah Leigh' (v)

Height x Spread: 75cm x 50cm

'Norah Leigh' has lance-shaped variegated leaves which are dark green with a yellow margin. During summer beautiful, scented, lilac-mauve flowers appear.
A stunning perennial which should be planted towards the middle of your border. It has a fantastic perfume and would be ideal for a sensory or perfume garden or for planting near to your outside seating areas. It can be used as cut flower for the house but should be cut in the evening not the heat of the day.

Plant in any reasonably good, moisture-retentive soil in either a sunny or part shady spot. Deadhead to prolong the flowering period. A mulch of well-rotted manure or garden compost will help to feed this hungry perennial.
