Pimpinella major 'Rosea'

Commonly known as Pink Greater Burnet Saxifrage, P. m. 'Rosea' has airy umbelliferous flowers during early summer. Beneath the dainty flowerheads are cut green leaves made up of several leaflets.

A stunning plant it is ideal for naturalistic planting schemes, 'Rosea' is happy in a sun or partial shade, providing the soil is moist. Boggy areas and alongside watercourses suit it perfectly.
