Polygonatum x hybridum

A wonderful plant for spring, the Polygonatum's arching stems bear fresh green oval foliage. Dainty cream tubular flowers with green tips appear in pairs during late spring. 

A superb plant for shady borders which have a humus-rich soil. Use this perennial to under-plant trees. Solomon's Seal needs a sheltered location. Division can be carried out during the spring.
