A clump forming, semi-evergreen perennial with a basal rosette of light green leaves and large heads of fragrant, tubular flowers in shades of yellow, orange and red.
Happiest in good or moist soil in semi shade but will tolerate sun if kept moist. This plant may well disappear in late summer only to appear again when the weather cools in autumn. Will seed around itself if happy. Lifting and splitting the clump every few years will help prevent over-crowding.
