Small, dark pink flowers burst onto the scene during the spring with fruit following during the summer. Rubus arcticus is otherwise known as Arctic Bramble or Dwarf Raspberry. Palmate, lobed, green foliage has toothed margins.
It thrives in the sun or partial shade, in any reasonable soil. A brilliant perennial for the front of the border, providing superb ground cover. It can be used along the edges of walkways or as an under-planter for shrubs and roses. This is a very hardy plant.
