Height x Spread: 20cm x 30cm
Unusual white and yellow flowers, with long lower petals are held in loose clusters above round, reddish-purple leaves edged in lime with purple undersides. This cultivar of a species found in China in 1947, has the most extraordinary display of flowers in late spring above loose, clumping foliage.
Definitely one for the connoisseurs, give it pride of place in a raised, well drained area or a rock garden. It enjoys a humus rich soil in partial shade.
