A spreading, succulent, alpine perennial, “Black Beauty” has deep purple foliage and deep pink flowers from Summer to Autumn. Sun-loving and drought tolerant, this low-growing perennial makes great ground cover on neutral to alkaline soil.

This plant is of no interest to deer or rabbits, but the flowers will draw pollinators. The spreading stems will root wherever they touch the soil. Divide the plants every 3-4 years. Fantastic for stabilising soil and preventing erosion and makes a great addition to sunny banks and raised beds. Easy to grow, just ensure that it is not placed in soil that becomes waterlogged in Winter.
