Bright pink daisy flowers with fluffy, orange centres are carried on robust, sturdy stems with mid green, rough, spear-shaped foliage. This New England Aster is much sought after for its intense colour, which will really brighten up a late season mixed or herbaceous border from late summer all the way into autumn.

At the nursery we mixed it with ornamental grasses and Symphyotrichun novae-angliae 'Andenken an Alma Potschke' for an eye catching combination that could be extended to wider prairie style planting.  Very attractive to butterflies, this variety also makes an excellent cut flower for displays. It grows best is a moist, reasonably fertile soil, in either full sun or partial shade.
