During summer lilac flower buds burst into bloom, revealing stunning lilac flowers with splendid yellow/cream stamens. This tall perennial has fern-like foliage which is pinnately divided. In very rich soils rochebruneanum may need staking.
A fantastically architectural plant for woodland gardens, and a low maintenance plant for your beds and borders. Ensure that you position this Meadow Rue in full sun or partial shade in a humus-rich soil. This Thalictrum dislikes very dry conditions.
