Verbascum chaixii 'Album'
Height x Spread: 120cm x 60cm
V. chaxii 'Album' is a white form of Nettle-Leaved Mullein. During late summer a multitude of flower spikes stand tall above basal rosettes of large grey-green, hirsute leaves. The cream flower buds open to pure white flowers with purple stamens.
Choose a sunny or partially shaded situation when planting in your borders and flower beds. Exposed situations are ideal for Mullein, however, they may need staking through the summer. Hillsides and gravel gardens, cottage gardens, wildlife gardens and courtyard gardens are all perfect situations for this perennial.
