Veronica is commonly known as Speedwell. 'Bergen's Blue' is a low-growing perennial with small lance-shaped, toothed, dark green leaves covering burgundy stems. Tiny delicate blue flowers with a sweet white eye appear during spring on this compact plant.
'Bergen's Blue' is a great perennial for rockeries or alpine gardens. When planting it at the front of your border ensure you choose a sunny or lightly shaded position. This Speedwell is quite happy growing in a reasonably good soil.
