Waldsteinia ternata

A rhizomatous herbaceous perennial suited to part or full shade sites and moist soil of any pH. It is a low growing, clump forming plant that in protected conditions can be semi-evergreen. Blooming from late spring to early summer, the flowers are small, yellow & approx. 1.5cm diameter and consist of five petals. The leaves are dark green and are palmate in form, divided into three leaflets.
Ideal for edging, ground cover and underplanting larger shrubs and trees. Lift and divide established clumps in early spring.
