Buddleja × weyeriana 'Sungold'
Height x Spread: 250cm x 200cm
This unusual Buddleja produces in summer to early autumn masses of fragrant yellow/gold flowers in ball-like clusters along its long arching branches, which contrast well with its narrow dark grey-green foliage.
A fabulous addition to any wildlife garden due to its nectar/pollen rich flowers which attract bees, butterflies and moths in their droves and its seeds which are much-coveted by birds later in the year. This shrub benefits from a hard cutting back to pairs of new buds after the frosts have finished in the spring. Like all 'Butterfly Bushes' this shrub will thrive in a well-drained soil. For best results plant in a full sun to partially sunny location.
