Commonly known as Hairy Canary Clover, due to the soft hairy grey foliage. Originally from the Mediterranean, clusters of white flowers with pink buds appear during summer. Lotus hirsutus is a bushy semi-evergreen sub-shrub.
Full sun, shelter and a well-drained soil are essential for Hairy Canary Clover to thrive. A fantastic coastal plant as it tolerates salt spray. Lotus is generally pest and disease free.
