Height x Spread: 50cm x 45cm

Masses of large, white flowers with red lips, are carried on bushy, narrow stems with fragrant, small, green leaves. This native Mexican sub-shrub will flower during the summer all the way into autumn, attracting bees and other pollinators in their droves.

Hardly shy and retiring, it demands to be planted where its striking flowers and delicious blackcurrant foliage can be best enjoyed. It combines beautifully with purples, blues and pale pinks. Ideal for a well drained, coastal location too. Half-hardy, in colder areas we suggest that you plant it in a container. 'Hot Lips' prefers a light, free draining soil in full sun.

H5 - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters (-15 to -10)

Available for Mail Order from April - August
