Description

Anthemis cretica subsp. carpatica 'Karpatenschnee'

Height x Spread; 15cm x 30cm

This is a sun-loving, mat forming, semi-evergreen perennial with fine grey green, aromatic leaves and daisy like, white flowers held on short erect stems. Flowers appear from late spring into summer and should be dead headed regularly to encourage the production of new buds. After all flowering has ceased the plant should be cut back to maintain its compact shape.

Always place this plant in neutral to acidic free draining soil in full sun. Allegedly deer and rabbit resistant, this plant is highly attractive to pollinators. Very drought tolerant once established.

Divide in spring every 2-3 years. This plant will grow happily in gaps in walls, gravel, rock and scree gardens and also makes a great edging plant for borders, raised beds and containers.
