Geranium phaeum 'Album'

Height x Spread: 75cm x 60cm

This white form of 'dusky cranesbill' produces small flat flowers that gently nod their heads on slender stems above clumps of deeply-cut mid-green foliage. Removing spent foliage and flowers will encourage further fresh leaves and occasional bloom.

A useful plant for illuminating a dry or damp shady area, it looks charming contrasted with ferns and Disporpsis pernyi in a woodland garden. Alternatively plant it beneath roses and shrubs to add interest at low level before the stars above start to perform. It thrives in moderately rich, free-draining soil but can tolerate most soils if not waterlogged.  Useful for shade to part shade areas
