Hemerocallis 'Irish Elf'

Height x Spread: 45cm x 45cm

'Irish Elf' is not readily available but its graceful habit makes it well worth growing. Erect stems bear small, yellow , cornet-shaped flowers held high over a clump of arching grass-like green foliage, in midsummer. Hemerocallis is commonly known as Daylily, each flower lasts just one day, but with many stems, each carrying multiple buds these plants still put on a good show over a long period of time.

'Irish Elf' is ideal for south-facing borders these plants flourish in sunny situations as long as the soil is moderately good and holds a reasonable amount of moisture. Hemerocallis are tolerant of partial shade.
