Description
Helleborus x hybridus ViV Luisa
Height x Spread: 45cm x 60cm
A dramatic Helleborus, Luisa has large, dark, deep purple double flowers which surround a yellow heart. Reminiscent of a Paeonia, but Helleborus Luisa prefers a part shady position in the garden and humus rich soil. Tolerant of alkaline soils. A sterile Hellebore, Luisa looks great when planted with early white flowering perennials such as Galanthus, Iphieon 'Alberto Castillo', Helleborus Amalia or white cyclamen. A much needed provider of nectar for winter insects and pollinators.
