Phlox paniculata 'Logan Black'

An extremely visually interesting Phlox, 'Logan Black' has sooty coloured lance-shaped leaves during the spring before they fade to green. It is named for its black stems bearing black buds which burst open to reveal delightful contrasting scarlet blooms during the summer. 

A great low maintenance perennial which can be used within any reasonably good soil. Areas in sun or partial shade are perfect for 'Logan Black'. Regular deadheading during the summer will ensure that flowering is prolonged.
