Monarda 'Jacob Cline'

Large, dark red flowerheads with narrow petals and purple-black bracts are held on strong vertical stems above aromatic, mid-green dagger-shaped foliage.

Planted in clumps in a border, this taller-growing bergamot makes a bold and dramatic statement in summer. A veritable bee magnet, it is an excellent choice for a wildlife garden. It thrives in a rich, free-draining soil that retains some moisture in summer, in a sunny or partially shaded site.
