Penstemon 'Apple Blossom'

'Apple Blossom' is another classic award-winning Penstemon. Attractive pale pink tubular flowers burst onto the scene during summer with a fancy white throat. The narrow lance-shaped green leaves cover the stem beneath the flowers.

'Apple Blossom' will help to fill your flower borders with colour throughout the summer. Penstemon is quite happy growing in any reasonably good, well-drained soil as long as you plant it in a sunny or partially shady spot. This compact vigorous variety also thrives in containers and would be perfect for patios. Leave the top growth on over winter, cutting the plant back hard after the last frosts have passed in spring.
